I have extensive Art Direction experience troubleshooting on retail brands, I’ve worked for all the major Melbourne Advertising agencies. Creating effective and award winning retail Catalogues ( 8 x Australian Catalogue Awards including 1 Gold), Direct Mail & Edms, POS and TV commercials. Brands I’ve worked on include Myer/Megamart, Mitre 10, Home Hardware (above TVCs), Chemmart, Kmart, Village, Jetstar, Telstra and Australia Post. A few years ago had extended contract of 18 months in-house B2B on OfficeMax (now merged with OfficeDepot) including packaging design and artwork of over 1,500 skus.
Chemmart – Moving on up. The brief was to increase participation by the members to their national conference in Sydney, in an engaging way. Once the Teaser poster in tube was opened out and the member stood on it, image gave taste of the view and breathtaking experience of their Sydney Harbour Bridge climb as part of the conference. I created mockups to sell the concept, line illustrations and sourced stock shots and sourced high resolution image for poster. I art directed all collateral pieces created for the conference. BMW Direct Mail piece – Never Lack Vision. A concept I created to launch of the 7 Series BMW in Melbourne. The intriguing pseudo spy invitation answered the creative brief and motivated CEOs and executives, to attend the launch event. The Invitation text to the exclusive event was printed with Phosphor ink, only visible via the Pens UV light source supplied. Each CEOs/executives name was personally engraved on the UV pens. They slotted into a recess in the premium box, that was printed with black foil and spot matt varnish. negotiated another one of their clients MyerOne, to allow BMW to use their ‘tier one’ customer database. Hertz National Hotel Concierge. Flyers, print collateral for Hertz Hotel representatives to increase Hotel sales, which they did quite successfully.
